I have also chosen the Fried Calamari because it has a non-wheat breading , which usually means the thing that is breaded isn ’ t heavily breaded . That ’ s true in this case ; it has crunch , but doesn ’ t overpower the taste of the meat . Next time , though , I ’ ll pass in favor of something else , because the harissa dipping sauce is saltier than I expect , and I prefer the strong flavors found in the Dolmas and Kefta .
TEA FOR TWO — AND TWO OF THE TEAS Spice Road Table has two versions of Iced Mint Tea : one with Bombay Sapphire and one without . It ’ s delightfully refreshing as a nonalcoholic tea ; with gin , it ’ s definitely a one-and-done cocktail . Although it does seem a shame to use Bombay Sapphire in a cocktail , there ’ s no denying the spirit deepens the taste layers in the drink .
And , again , the Spice Road has shown itself . The juniper berries used in the gin have historic ties to Egypt . The tea comes from China . And I ’ m here , drinking it all in , at EPCOT .
