The Home-style Meatloaf is , much like the club , exactly what you ’ re expecting . The “ home-style ” in the menu description is well earned as this dish could easily have come out of your grandma ’ s kitchen . These are flavors you know and love . It ’ s comforting , filling , and simple — but deeply satisfying . Our seasonal vegetable was green beans , and thankfully they were served with a little bit of crunch left — not boiled to death like green beans often wind up . I really enjoyed the gravy ; it had a bit of a ketchup-y flavor to it , which is definitely what the meatloaf of my childhood tasted like . The mashed potatoes were lovely and creamy and still had a bit of the skin on . I like some skins in my mashed potatoes , but it ’ s worth noting that this might come up if you have very picky eaters in your family .
The restaurant has all the usual kids ’ menu items , but unless your kids are really little or so picky that chicken fingers are the only thing they will tolerate , you might as well order off the regular menu . The food here is approachable , familiar , comforting , and delicious . I typically encourage guests to try something new , but the menu here probably doesn ’ t have much that is new to you .
However , it ’ s all prepared well and has lots of flavor .
