Ariel

In the 1989 animated film , Ariel has six unique looks . Throw in her sequel , what she wears in the parks , and Halle Bailey ’ s new looks in the new live-action adaptation released last month , and the options feel endless .
If pressed , I ’ d say my favorite is the layered , multi-tonal blue look Ariel wears during “ Kiss the Girl .” This look lends itself to the whimsical corset top trend . You can wear it on your own or layer it under a top or blouse . Make sure the shades of blue fall on the outfit where they fall in Ariel ’ s . This outfit features a light blue skirt and a navy corset top . Depending on which version of “ Kiss the Girl ” you ’ re looking at , Ariel sometimes dons a light blue blouse , and other times she wears a white one , so the choice is yours .
For the shoes , I went with a pair of platform sandals . Heels may not be ideal for a park day , but you can DisneyBound anywhere . That said , I encourage DisneyBounders to consider what will be comfortable for where they ’ re bounding .
Don ’ t forget accessories ! A “ Kiss the Girl ” DisneyBound is so much fun because there are so many animals that Ariel comes into contact with in the scene that you could incorporate into your look through jewelry and purses . I kept this look simple with a kitschy crab purse to represent Sebastian , and lip earrings for the kiss .
