Walt Disney World offers guests two playful miniature golf experiences , each with two 18-hole courses . Cradled between Crescent Lake and Disney ’ s Hollywood Studios is one of these four courses : Fantasia Gardens , which draws its whimsical inspiration from Disney ’ s 1940 musical anthology film Fantasia . From musical obstacles to plentiful water features , Fantasia Gardens is perfect for the whole family . Be mindful of the marching broomsticks , though — they ’ re ready to douse nearby players with their water buckets . Each hole on this course starts with a helpful , rhyming plaque that provides hints about where to aim ( and where to walk to avoid the water features !).
Fantasia Gardens operates daily from 10 a . m . to 10 p . m . There ’ s no direct bus transportation , so travel to a Crescent Lake hotel by bus or Skyliner , then head to the course via the walking path .
You won ’ t find much shade on the course , so pack a hat and sunscreen . And if you ’ re feeling hot after 18 holes , take a dip in your resort ’ s pool . Check out our favorites on page 25 .
