BY TIMOTHY MOORE

There are a few defining moments in a young man ’ s life : his first words , his first steps , his first trip to Walt Disney World , his first date , the day he got Christina Aguilera ’ s eponymous debut album for his birthday in 1999 , and the day he watched her slay at the debut of Magic Kingdom ’ s new nighttime spectacular , Disney Enchantment , 22 years later .

But for as many people as were there , you could have heard a Disney pin drop as Ms . Aguilera walked onto the stage to perform .

Even as a seven-and-a-half-year-old , I understood how groundbreaking Mulan was when I saw it on that big screen .
