First , there ’ s a moment ( blink and you could miss it ) as we transition from Finding Nemo to Toy Story that the projections return the castle to its pre- 2020 pink-and-blue paint job , giving us a nostalgic glimpse at the old white and blue .
Second , when the eerie music of Frozen II ’ s “ Into the Unknown ” creeps into the medley , the castle undergoes an ominous transition and looks so cool , complete with streaks of lightning and actual lasers shooting out .
Speaking of Frozen , the film ’ s iconic queen brings us my final favorite projection moment . As we reach the finale of the “ Into the Unknown ” portion , watch as Elsa uses her powers to shoot ice into the air . The fireworks are timed perfectly to shoot out of the sides of the castle , as if coming straight from her hands . The timing and positioning of this moment are crazy precise .
MAGICAL MUSIC The new song for Disney Enchantment , “ You Are the Magic ,” comes from GRAMMY winner Philip Lawrence , and it ’ s powerful stuff . The show opens and closes with this beautiful song .
But don ’ t worry . Many of your beloved Disney classics also make their way into the medley . After “ You Are the Magic ,” listen for covers of “ Almost There ” ( The Princess and the Frog ) and “ We Know the Way ” ( Moana ). During a long instrumental interlude in the middle of the show , you ’ ll find yourself singing the words to “ Be Our Guest ,” “ Under the Sea ,” “ You ’ ve Got a Friend in Me ,” “ A Whole New World ,” and “ You Can Fly .” Singers return for songs from Frozen II and Moana before “ You Are the Magic ” brings it home .
Its lyrics are the perfect way to close out a day — and for many , an emotional end to a once-in-a-lifetime trip — at Walt Disney World .
“ Make a wish upon a star . The magic is here . It ’ s here for you and me .”
