And the nal stop was the famous tilidors. The word means “underground corridors”, and these run beneath the Magic Kingdom. This is why you never see a Castmember in a Frontierland costume walking through Main Street. They use this tunnel system to reach their position. You see a good amount of the tilidors on your tour, as well as learn how they adapted them when new sections of the park were added. Is the Backstage Magic Tour for you? If you are, not only a Disney fan, but a theme park fan, who loves to see how things really work, this tour is perfect for you. It doesn t in any way diminish the “magic” of Disney. If anything, it leaves you more impressed with the organization that makes that magic happen day after day. If you ve visited Disney World a lot, and you re looking for a brand new experience where you can see and learn new things, this is the ideal tour to take. I highly recommend it to spice up a visit to the parks, and show you a whole new perspective. At the time of this writing the Backstage Magic tour is $ 75 each and includes the full 7 hour tour along with lunch. Also to be noted is that o erings can change from time to time, and what you see on the tour may vary from what we saw. But no ma er what, you will thoroughly enjoy it. Photo Courtesy of Disney
