Eventually , Ron worked his way up to president of The Walt Disney Company in 1980 . He also had a brief stint as CEO . During his time at Disney , Ron created the
Touchstone label and pushed for more computer animation ; Ron was instrumental in the film TRON ( meaning , in a way , we have him to thank for the upcoming ride at Magic Kingdom ).
