When it gets close to race time, you’ll want to start heading toward your corral and stop along the way to take the all important pre-race restroom breaks! There are plenty of porta potties, but like any Disney event, these too have long lines! THE RACE Unless you’re in the first corrals, expect there to be some time between the actual race start and your corral start. Have no fear of missing the all important “go” for your corral because Disney treats each corral start just like it’s the very first one, with a countdown and fireworks—there’s even a race commentator and a character or two wishing you well on your way. As with any race, there are also drink stations and some snacks along the way to help avoid dehydration and fatigue. Definitely take advantage of those! When the finish line is in sight, you’ll find some great Disney touches with the characters greeting you and another DJ welcoming you to the end! You can even watch yourself on the big screen as you cross the finish line. Disney has a post race treat box ready for you with your finisher medal. A Disney photographer will also be there to take your official
