WDW Magazine December 2015 - Crowds at WDW | Page 27
As a bonus, if you want to see Wishes – try it out from a different location – like the Rivers
of America or Storybook Circus. You can have fun until a minute or two before show time
and then speed off to another attraction after the finale without dealing with the crush of
people on Main Street USA!
10 Choose Your Queues
When crowd levels peak on weekends, holidays and school breaks, you’re likely to
encounter times when all the lines are long, all of the time. So if you have to wait in a line,
you may as well make it a fun line, right?
Many of the attractions at WDW have interactive or interesting queues. Soarin’ and Space
Mountain have video games, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Peter Pan’s Flight have magical
touches you can play along with, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and Dumbo
have play areas, Expedition Everest and Star Tours have lots to look at. There are many
other examples, but if you’re going to wait, what not pick one of these fun queues rather
than stand in a line like cattle at Tomorrowland Indy Speedway or Primeval Whirl?
No matter what time of year you go, or what crowd levels are like, there’s always away to
make the crowds work for you or against you!
