world. Themed garbage cans in each
land, bathrooms design for knights and
ladies or cowboys and cowgirls, and the
famous little popcorn turners found at
Uncle Walt’s original park were some of
my favorites.
At 15, I went to WDW for the first time
and can remember being overcome with
excitement to see how my favorite details
were replicated, enhanced, or
re-imagined at the much more expansive
property, and WDW didn’t disappoint!
From that trip forward, I became
enamored with observing the details
underfoot. Imagineers in charge of
concrete design, you have earned a
place in my heart!
If you’re never notice the concrete at
WDW, you’re missing out! Each park and
resort has customized concrete with some really special touches that set the mood and
draw you into the story even more. It’s a wonderful example of how the little things
really “plus” the experience.
