For several years
now , I have had the pleasure of writing about the food scene at WDW . As your regular restaurant columnist , I have delighted at the chance to sample the very best of what Disney has to offer , from the snacks and Quick-Service restaurants to the buffets and fine-dining experiences . On the most basic level , dining at WDW can be a fuel-up to enjoy the parks . Beyond mere sustenance , dining provides entertainment , forms memories , and acts as an extension of the Disney immersion .
Walt Disney famously said that the parks would never be finished ; they will continue to grow and evolve . The same can be said about the food . Recently , chefs at Walt Disney World have focused their efforts on expanding and enhancing plantbased dining options throughout the parks and resorts . You ’ ve probably noticed this little leaf icon popping up on menus across WDW to indicate a plant-based item .
