PHOTO BY BRETT SVENSON TRANSPORTATION ISSUES Unless you are renting the in-park strollers, you’ll be required to unload and fold up your strollers on most Walt Disney World transportation, including trams, buses, and resort ferries. Most of the time there is space to pull your stroller onto the Monorail and the Magic Kingdom Ferry without folding it up, but not always. ROOM SIZE Don’t forget that bringing a stroller or renting from a third party also means storing a stroller. If you’ve got a vehicle on property, of course you can leave it in the trunk. But if not, then be sure that you’ll have a place to keep the stroller in your resort room. Sometimes people will opt to bring small umbrella strollers for this reason, but that limits your features considerably. OTHER PLANS Will you need a stroller for other travels around Orlando? Do you see yourself taking walks around the Boardwalk with a stroller? Will you want a stroller just to get from place to place within your resort? In these cases, planning to rent solely within the parks is not going to work best for you, but bringing your own or renting from a third party will be perfect.
