you know you like Crème Brûlée than sit down and order with confidence because you will be enjoying a perfectly executed dessert.
The Tarte aux Pommes was also a fantastic finish to a good meal. The tart crust is buttery and flakey, the apples are nicely cooked, and caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream both tasted of premium ingredients. My only downside was that the almond cream was a little too strong for my liking. Some people love almond in their desserts, especially things like marzipan. I find that almond flavor can be a bit overpowering and sometimes bitter. I still enjoyed this dessert and if you know you like almond, than go for it; I was lured in by the apple and caramel which were both excellent, but I kept getting distracted by that background flavor of almond I could have done without.
As you can expect at a French bistro there is an excellent wine list and even suggested pairings for the dishes. The staff is knowledgeable on the wines and will be happy to talk you through your choices. Most of the wines are available by the glass or bottle. There are also a few signature cocktails and a decent selection of beers. Everything skews towards French varieties and there is a lot to enjoy with your meal. If you don’ t imbibe there is the usual assortment of juice, soda and other beverages you will find across WDW.
