Club Disney For the Love of Walt Disney Video It’s true. When I first heard about Club Disney, a dance club geared towards kids, my initial thought was “that’s lame”. And I never use “lame” and “Disney” in the same sentence. Then I just happened to visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios about a week after Club Disney opened in December. We had to do the parent swap for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster since my four-year-old is too young to ride. I was going to take him to the attraction gift shop while we waited, since that is what I used to do with my daughter and that is where the ride exits. But then I remembered that Club Disney had just opened around the corner. If you keep going past Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster and through the gates near the queue entrance, the building, Sunset Showcase, is to your left. So we went. And we couldn’t get him to leave! Why would you want to leave a place where you can dance with Mickey, Goofy, Chip, Dale, and others? And I was perfectly fine hanging out for a while so my little dancing machine could try out his cool moves. During December it wasn’t very crowded at all. There was no waiting; you could just walk right up and dance with your favorite character! A DJ plays energetic Radio Disney songs as a variety of characters dance the day away. Comfortable couches and chairs are scattered around the dance floor and provide a perfect opportunity to relax a little while the kiddos burn off some energy. It’s also a great place to cool off or escape a rainstorm while still having a nice time. Club Disney even has a variety of snacks and drinks! Plus, there are charging stations. Now your phone can charge while you recharge. This, my friends, is why I’m telling you my secret. I want you to be able to experience this hidden gem at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. You must not let anyone know about this really great location! Let’s keep the crowds low so you will feel like a VIP!
