One Man’s Dream
Location: Mickey Avenue
Did you even know that there was still a land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios called
Mickey Avenue? There isn’t a lot there, except one of the most inspiring walk through
attractions in all of Disney World: One Man’s Dream.
If you are a Disney fan, this is a must-see exhibit with priceless art and artifacts from
Walt’s life and the company he built. If Disney isn’t presenting a movie preview in the
theater at the end of the experience, be sure to watch the movie that summarizes
Walt’s life. You will be inspired.
Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage
Location: Mickey Avenue
The music of the classic Disney movie comes to life as talented performers in amazing
costumes present a Broadway-quality production that is definitely worth seeing! This
show has been running at DHS since the day Beauty and the Beast [the movie] first
opened in theaters: November 22, 1991.
This show holds the honor of being the longest-running stage show at Walt Disney
World!
Fantasmic!
Location: Sunset Boulevard
It’s the perfect ending to the perfect day at DHS. This nighttime spectacular uses water
projections, ships, characters, fire, and just about every other theatrical trick to bring
Mickey’s dream to life as good battles evil. Many of the characters used are from
bygone times, but the show is still plenty of fun for viewers of all ages!
Are you surprised at how many shows and movies are still available at Disney’s
Hollywood Studios? Be sure to pick up a Times Guide when you enter the park, or check
the show times under the “Entertainment” tab in your My Disney Experience app, and
take in some fun!
