One Man’s Dream Location: Mickey Avenue Did you even know that there was still a land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios called Mickey Avenue? There isn’t a lot there, except one of the most inspiring walk through attractions in all of Disney World: One Man’s Dream. If you are a Disney fan, this is a must-see exhibit with priceless art and artifacts from Walt’s life and the company he built. If Disney isn’t presenting a movie preview in the theater at the end of the experience, be sure to watch the movie that summarizes Walt’s life. You will be inspired. Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage Location: Mickey Avenue The music of the classic Disney movie comes to life as talented performers in amazing costumes present a Broadway-quality production that is definitely worth seeing! This show has been running at DHS since the day Beauty and the Beast [the movie] first opened in theaters: November 22, 1991. This show holds the honor of being the longest-running stage show at Walt Disney World! Fantasmic! Location: Sunset Boulevard It’s the perfect ending to the perfect day at DHS. This nighttime spectacular uses water projections, ships, characters, fire, and just about every other theatrical trick to bring Mickey’s dream to life as good battles evil. Many of the characters used are from bygone times, but the show is still plenty of fun for viewers of all ages! Are you surprised at how many shows and movies are still available at Disney’s Hollywood Studios?
