TOWER OF TERROR Twilight Zone Ride - Disney's Hollywood Studios PANDAVISION BigFatPanda Adjacent to Rock 'n' Roller Coaster is my personal favorite: The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™… Also located on Sunset Boulevard, this ride is not for the feint of heart! Combining the spooky feel and mystery of an episode of Rod Serling’s The Twilight Zone and the adrenaline-pumping thrill of a simulated free-fall, the Tower of Terror may be too intense for some younger members of your party. The queue and introduction to the ride take you through the picturesque setting of The Hollywood Tower Hotel, a once glamorous location, now turned decrypted and utterly spooky. Once you enter the hotel you are immersed in a Twilight Zone story about a mysterious elevator accident and you are invited –“if you dare”—to enter The Twilight Zone. From here you proceed to your ride vehicle for an unpredictably hair-raising journey. The ride mechanism relies on a computer program that randomizes the pattern of drops and rises so each trip is truly unique! To ride The Tower of Terror, guests must be 40in (102cm) or taller and those in ECV must transfer to standard wheelchair and then to ride vehicle. FastPass+ is available and recommended, as the waits can get quite lengthy. Next up we have the The Great Movie Ride located in Hollywood Boulevard… This ride has undergone a recent renovation and is newly updated. Perfect for all ages—but especially for movie buffs—this dark ride uses a mixture of Audio-Animatronics, live actors, sets, and projections to take you through some of cinema’s most iconic scenes. It’s a great way to enjoy the Golden Age of Hollywood aspect of Disney’s Hollywood Studios. There are no height restrictions and guests traveling in an ECV and wheelchairs do not need to transfer.
