Scheduled Closures/Refurbishments This Month
Soarin’ will remain closed for a complete overhaul, including the addition of a 3rd theatre
and will reopen in the summer of 2016.
Maelstrom transformation into Frozen Ever After- expected to reopen April 30th, 2016.
Circle of Life Film will reopen April 2.
Pizza Planet at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will remain closed through late 2016.
Permanent Closures at Disney’s Hollywood Studios as of April 3rd:
Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show, Honey I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure,
Mike and Sulley Meet and Greet, Prop Shop, Studio Catering Company, Watto’s Grotto, Writer’s Shop
(all closing to make way for the big park expansion!)
Art of Animation Schoolyard Sprayground will be closed until May 11.
Caribbean Beach’s Aruba Pool will be closed until April 1st.
Polynesian’s East Pool will be closed through early 2016.
Polynesian Village Resort will be under general construction through early 2016.
Disney’s BoardWalk Inn will receive exterior repair and painting through May 5, 2016.
Hidden Springs Leisure Pool at Wilderness Lodge will be closed until 2017.
Disney Springs is undergoing extensive renovations. Expect delays in traffic on Buena Vista Drive.
Planet Hollywood will remain closed until late summer/September 2016.
