five most powerful communicators
in Asia. In November 2010, Forbes
Magazine identified Dr. Shiva as one
of the Seven Most Powerful Women
on the Globe.
She served as Chief Executive Officer of Britannia
Industries Limited from January 3, 2005 to March
31, 2014. She has worked over 16 years overseas
in a variety of marketing, sales and general
management positions with eminent multinationals.
With a rich and diverse experience in packaged
foods and beverages gained from working with
Cadbury Schweppes and The Coca-Cola Company
in several continents in a variety of marketing, sales
and general management positions. She blends a
high quality of Indian and International perspective
having lived and worked in the UK, Nigeria, South
Africa, USA and Chile. Since 1994. Ms. Bali has
been a Non Executive Non Independent Director
of Titan Company Limited since October 18, 2006,
Syngenta AG since April 2012, Smith & Nephew plc
since December 1, 2014. She served as Independent
& Non-Executive Director of Piramal Glass Ltd.
since July 26, 2007 until September 8, 2014.
Director of The Bombay Dyeing and Manufacturing
Company Limited from April 30, 2009 to October 1,
2014, an Independent Director of Mphasis Ltd. She
is a member of the Global Diversity and Advisory
