Create your own sea creature Gobbie from Noah ’ s Ark Animal Workshop ! A gobbie kit includes colorful clips that attach to any bag or purse ! This FREE program is for kids ages 8-14 , and is offered in 2 sessions . You must register as spots are limited for each session .

1 . Tell us a little about yourself .: I grew up in Bellevue , OH . My interests are playing golf , video games , and hanging out with friends and family . I graduated Defiance College with a Bachelor ’ s Degree in History and a minor in Business .
2 . What have you most enjoyed about becoming the Local History Manager for WCPL ?: I enjoy learning something new everyday on the history of the county . I also enjoy patrons coming in & telling stories about their life experiences .
3 . What is a service the Local History Center offers you wish the community knew more about ?: That we have a vast collection of historical books and online services that we provide ( Ancestry , Obit Database , etc .). Another would be our photographic archive collection .
4 . Favorite book ?: My favorite collection of books is anything relating to the Civil War .
5 . Favorite local business or local event you have attended so far ?: My favorite local business I ’ ve visited so far is Kora . My favorite local event was the playing of the Bryan City Band in the courthouse square .
6 . Favorite Williams County history fact ?: That Bryan was part of an air-mail route . This route had been placed as Bryan is located between New York & Chicago . Mail from New York was transported by plane to Bryan for a pit stop , and then continued on to Chicago . 1918-1927 were the years that this service was provided .
