Make fun , imaginative crafts with Miss Bekki ! Beginner Craft Hour ( For Ages 4-8 ) & Advanced Craft Hour ( For Tweens ) will rotate sessions , with each group meeting every other week ! Make a Spooky Ghost Pom-Pom Shooter !

1 . Tell us a little about yourself ! I grew up in Bryan and Montpelier . Started school in Bryan , and graduated Montpelier . I now live back in Bryan . I enjoy many activities and hobbies , however , top of that list is theatre . I have been active with WCCT since 1998 ! I enjoy learning about & working on my classic 1956 Ford Fairlane . I have been at WCPL just a year and a half . But I love it , it ’ s the best job , I have ever had !

2 . What have you enjoyed about being the WCPL Outreach Manager ? I thoroughly enjoy meeting the patrons that I deliver to and learning about their lives . I also take great pride in my tween book club that I run through the school year . Those kids may all start off as strangers , but I love watching them make friends with each other . Their smiles and excitement over the books we are reading make my heart happy . As the Outreach Manager I get to go out into the community where the people are and bring the library to them . I enjoy making the library more accessible to all the citizens . You may see me at the cruise-in on the Bryan square or at Nettle Lake on a Saturday , ready to make you a library card .

3 . What is a service that WCPL offers that you wish the community were more aware of ? That you can access Ancestry . com for FREE with your WCPL library card at the Local History Center !

4 . Favorite book ? I have many books that I love , and that have helped to make me into the person I am today . From Bunnicula to the Secret Garden and from Madame Bovary to the Age of Innocence , my taste is all over the place , but I think that I will say that my favorite book is IT by Stephen King

5 . What WCPL events are you most excited about in the upcoming months ? I am doing a collaboration with Fleo ’ s Flicks in Edgerton this September , where I will be telling local ghost stories before they show a zombie movie double feature ! I think this is a great way to connect with other adults who love spooky stuff as much as I do !
