Create a Library Canvas Bag & Community Rocks : June 5th , 9:00AM-6:00PM
To kick off Summer Reading , pick a design from our Cricut selection & make your own reusable library book bag ! Then , paint a “ Kindness Rock ” to place around the community . For all ages .
Activity Time : Tuesday , Thursdays , & Fridays , June 6th-23rd , 12:30PM
Be read a story and have activities and games surrounding the summer reading theme . Special sessions include a Noah ’ s Ark Workshop on June 6th , make Clay Animals on June 9th , Paper Kites on June 16th , make a Pencil Can Holder on June 22nd , & Sticker Time on June 23rd . For kids & teens .
Fun Fact Trivia Day : June 6th , 1:00PM , For Ages 10 +
Preteens & teens , can compete in teams for top prize !
Professor Tony : June 7th , 1:00PM
Enjoy a wildly fun show for all ages , filled with comedy , juggling , teaching & audience participation !
Giant Games : June 9th , 9:00AM-3:00PM
Play Giant Games such as Giant Floor Crossword , Giant Checkers , Giant Sorry , & Giant Candyland ! Anyone can play ! Bring some friends !
Flower Power : June 12th , 1:00PM
Patrons of all ages can learn about flowers , paint a flower pot , & plant seeds in the pot ! Register .
Design Your Own Beach Towel : June 14th , 1:00PM
Attendants can tape & spray dye their own beach towel for the summer ! Register .
Positivity Jar : June 15th , 1:00PM
All ages can make a Positivity Jar , for day when you need an extra reminder of how great you are !
Create a Wreck It Journal : June 16th , 1:00PM
Make a journal , with the intention of destroying it , & having fun while doing it ! Each page will have different challenges , or crafting opportunities , such as blowing bubbles , cutting a page into fringe , smearing things , etc that will ultimately destroy your journal !
Chalk the Block : June 19th , 1:00PM
Chalk the sidewalk with kind words & positive affirmations !
Friendship Bracelets : June 20th , 1:00-5:00PM
Kids & teens can make bracelets for themselves & friends !
Design a Bookmark : June 8th , 9:00AM-5:00PM
All ages can design a bookmark and patrons can vote on their favorite design . The winning design will be printed and given out at the desk , with the artist receiving a prize !
