A WORD FROM THE DIRECTOR
Dear Friends and Neighbors of Williams County,
In 2025, the people of Williams County once again demonstrated what is possible when a community believes in its library. When voters renewed our operating levy with 66 % support, they expressed confidence in the work we do and reaffirmed the importance of strong public libraries. We are grateful for that trust and remain committed to using those resources responsibly to serve residents throughout the county and beyond.
This year, we expanded the ways our community can learn, create, and connect. We continued digitizing our extensive photographic archive, introduced free access to sign language classes with ASLdeafined, added poster printing services, and offered digital literacy workshops through grant funding. Together, these additions preserve our history, strengthen technology skills, and provide new resources for our patrons. We are equally excited about what lies ahead. Our plans include creating a StoryWalk at two Bryan parks, developing a MakerSpace where patrons can learn and create, and continuing preparations for a new Pioneer Branch adjacent to North Central Local Schools.
Each project reflects our commitment to making library services more accessible, engaging, and responsive to the communities we serve. The pages that follow highlight the creativity and dedication found throughout WCPL in 2025. Every accomplishment was made possible by our staff, community partners, and the continued support of the people we serve. Thank you for believing in your library. We are proud to serve you and look forward to building the future of WCPL together.
See you at the library,
Dylan Wagner
