LETTER FROM THE EDITOR
When Lee Anne McClymont, Courage Cocktail Radio Show host, came to me and asked if I would help pull
together a WCOM 10th Anniversary Magazine, I jumped at the chance to help celebrate this incredible
organization. As a new show host (PubSmart Radio) I am not unfamiliar with WCOM. For years I’ve been a
faithful listener and have had watched the station grow and flourish. This Carrboro-based station is making
waves in the world of radio. Podcasts are now heard around the world, the station schedule is just about full
with local talent, and the new studio and equipment have provided both talent and listeners with a more
sustainable station.
Congratulations to everyone who has contributed to WOCM with time, talent, or donations! It’s been an
incredible 10 years and we look forward to celebrating the next 10!
