The speaker was Past Master Ken Olisa OBE, who is Her Majesty’ s Lord Lieutenant for Greater London. He demonstrated what a busy role this was by being late for the dinner! He had just hosted HM the Queen and HRH Prince Philip at a reception in the West End, but, Past Master Olisa was determined to attend our Master’ s Installation Dinner so dashed across the City in his official car. In his speech he passed on the wisdom of a Past Master to the new Master.
