New Freemen’s Dinner 2016, Stationers’ Hall
T
he impressive stained glass windows and
carved oak panelling at the Stationers’ Hall,
once again set the scene for this year’s New
Freemen’s Dinner. Proposers and seconders, friends
and relations, joined together to celebrate the election
of our new Freemen of The Worshipful Company of
Information Technologists - the first formal event of
the year and the only one where we complete all of
the standard city ceremonies.
All attended participated in Sung Grace, The Loving
Cup and The Rose Water ceremonies. We were
fortunate to have these demonstrated by Past Master
David Morriss, Senior Warden Chris Histed and Junior
Warden Dr Stefan Fafinski. The Clerk, supported by
Court Assistant Ray Long, demonstrated the Loving
Cup with much gusto.
New Freeman Michelle Gurney toasted the Proposers
