MONITOR FELLOWSHIP WCIT Panel’s Christmas Lunch Serves up a Slice of Charity Fun! Contributed by Liveryman Jolyon Parsons, Events Panel Chairman O ur Livery room was fully decked out with Christmas decorations again this year for the Combined Panels Christmas Lunch. This is an informal lunch which is made possible thanks to Liveryman Chris Haden (as Head Chef) and friends donating their time to produce a restaurant quality, turkey lunch - with a Cointreau boosted pudding. Chris and his team excelled themselves again this year and helped us maximise fund raising. Company guests were entertained with pass the parcel and although we didn’t have Santa visit in person this year, the Clerk kindly gave an end of year Company update. The raffle prizes exceeded expectations once again with generous donations from; 1 Lombard Street Brasserie, Atherton Cox, Hawksmoor, Merchant House, Grange Hotel Tower Bridge and Ekspan -thanks to Fiona Punter for organising. Top Right: Head Chef Liveryman Chris Haden (middle) and his trusty crew. The behind the scenes Events Panel members and Hall staff all helped to make this a successful and fun day. The generosity of our guests and those who bought raffle tickets helped raise over £1,800 for our charities, a fantastic achievement!! Thank you all. Book early for 2016’s…...
