The Art Therapy program run
by InTouch Multicultural Centre
against Family Violence with
the Arabic Speaking Women’s
Group was a fantastic success.
The women shared their inner
experiences through weaving and
working with clay, addressing a
range of issues including living
in Australia, communication
between generations, social
isolation, motherhood and
respectful relationships. They were
so generous in being prepared
to share their stories. The group
allowed women to build trust,
reflecting with wisdom on their
own well-being and resilience.
