Welcome to Whitley Bay Cricket Club. In this booklet you will find the fixtures for the year as well useful
information about the rules and regulations of the club and the general day to day running of the cricket
teams.
Included here are a number of policies that all members should adhere to and if you have any queries please
feel free to ask any of the committee.

Saturday – 1 XI starting at 1 pm each week and 2 XI starting at 1.30pm each week.
The Midweek team play various nights but Home games are played at West Park on a Wednesday – 6 pm start.
First XI Cup Matches are played on a Tuesday – 6 pm start.
Second XI Cup Matches are played on a Thursday – 6 pm start.
Practice sessions are held every Tuesday from 6pm onwards + additional sessions as when needed.
As a reminder, selection is done through Play Cricket and it is important that all members have active accounts
on the Whitley Bay site – you must confirm by Thursday 6pm by replying to the email that is sent out – this
allows the Captains time to find suitable replacements should a player be unavailable.

Club House:
All members are reminded to make sure that the club house is in a neat and tidy state at all times – it is your
responsibility to make sure that any mess is cleared up.
