Starting Uni
Starting university can be intimidating. It’s a drastic change
from high school and there seems to be just so much to
remember! So, in order to help confused freshers, we asked
some of our older members to contribute their top tips for
getting through first semester.
1.Make sure you become acquainted with the assessments
of the unit early on, so you have plenty of time to prepare for
them.
2.Make sure you find out where your lectures are before he
actual lecture.
3.Don't be afraid to approach your lecturers - they are there
to help you.
4.Go to your lectures. You can watch them online, but if you
haven't watched them by the end of the week, you
probably won't watch them until exams.
5.Don't be afraid to approach the university if there is
something you need help with. There are a lot of programs in
place designed to help students." - Sarah Bradley, 3rd year
