Starting Uni Starting university can be intimidating. It’s a drastic change from high school and there seems to be just so much to remember! So, in order to help confused freshers, we asked some of our older members to contribute their top tips for getting through first semester. 1.Make sure you become acquainted with the assessments of the unit early on, so you have plenty of time to prepare for them. 2.Make sure you find out where your lectures are before he actual lecture. 3.Don't be afraid to approach your lecturers - they are there to help you. 4.Go to your lectures. You can watch them online, but if you haven't watched them by the end of the week, you probably won't watch them until exams. 5.Don't be afraid to approach the university if there is something you need help with.
