editor’s letter
P
utting out a magazine always involves
a dialogue between editors and writ-
ers, and the reading public we serve.
And that’s never truer for Wayne Magazine
than in our spring Readers’ Choice issue. It
would be hard to determine the businesses
that deliver for their customers, the restau-
rants that leave diners craving more and the
services that engender loyalty without read-
er feedback. To find out the results of our annual poll,
just crack open this issue.
Also in this issue: Our interview with Joe Zisa,
recently named president of the Wayne chapter of
UNICO, the largest Italian American service organiza-
tion in the U.S. William Paterson graduate Kevin
Burkhardt continues to shine as a FOX Sports broad-
caster (“Keeping his Eye on the Ball”), and Wayne’s
Felicia Lee talks about making waves as a competitive
swimmer and world traveler (“Going the Distance”).
There’s never a shortage of interesting places to
check out in the greater Wayne area, which is why we
appreciate the gate-keeping. Readers’ Choice poll-takers:
We salute you. ■
