How did you build your large social media following? We would be lying if we said this was easy. It took a lot of hard work getting the right quality of pictures, the right angles, the right edits and the right food. As far as hashtags, we researched and took the time to figure out which worked based on our audience and profile. Which posts get the most attention? We get the most attention on cheese posts and pictures that we are both in. People love a good cheese-pull. We do what we love together, and people love seeing that. What are a few of your favorite food destinations in the Wayne area? Brother Brunos is one of our favorites in Wayne. Our first post was from them. We would eat there every day if we could and look forward to visiting again as a soon as it is safe. MadnessMunchies also loves Buonogusto. Favorite things to do in and around Wayne? Since Wayne is so big, we still have so much to explore. There are so many awesome places to eat. We loved going to T-Bowl on Sundays, then grabbing a bite to eat at Guacamole, a delicious authentic Mexican restaurant that recently opened. Favorite places to shop in Wayne and beyond? Lenny and I actually met at The Willowbrook Mall, so that place is dear to us. We loved spending afternoons there and going to chain restaurants like Shake Shack and Chick-fil-A. We are huge shoppers and we love a great mall trip. What does a typical day in your week look like? We both have very hectic lives. We graduated recently and are still trying to figure out our futures, but we also believe it’s necessary to cut out time for each other. We love watching movies, cooking, and of course trying new foods. We set up a schedule of places we want to visit, add it to the calendar, and make it there after work to grab a bite. When we aren’t eating, we are planning out our posts, editing pictures, and updating our profile so it always looks aesthetically pleasing. Networking is 50 percent of our profiles, and making relationships with people in the food industry is crucial. It’s also amazing to meet people who do what we do. Currently, we miss so much about the area. We can’t wait to visit exciting new restaurants such as famous New Jersey pizza places, and our favorite Mexican cuisine. ■ SAVE ROOM FOR DESSERT (Clockwise from top) The Oreo milkshake from Mob Burger in Wood-Ridge; mac and cheese grilled cheese from Steve’s Grilled Cheese in Glassboro; a churro cake from @butterbakes_ (who also made the 10k cake on the previous page); rack of ribs and mac and cheese from Smoke and Steer Restaurant in Rockaway.
