been once again named the
top hospital in the state with less than
350 beds by Castle Connolly and
Jersey’s Best, in a new list recently
published.
Chilton Medical Center was also
named the number one hospital
in the state under 350 beds for the
treatment of congestive heart failure,
stroke, neurological disorders, pain
management, breast and prostate cancer as well as high-risk pregnancy and birth. These
results were based on physician votes and reflect Chilton Medical Center’s strong reputation
among physicians across the state.

CHILTON MEDICAL CENTER EARNS GERIATRIC
EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT ACCREDITATION
T
he American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP)
recently launched the Geriatric Emergency Department
Accreditation (GEDA) program to recognize emergency
departments that provide excellent care for older adults. The
Chilton Medical Center Emergency Department was awarded
the bronze standard - Level 3 GEDA accreditation. This
accreditation recognizes that Chilton is focused on the highest
standards of care for older adults.
