The homeowners, who until a few years ago owned and operated the popular restaurant Novelli, were attract- ed to the .89-acre property’s parklike setting, with its koi pond, bridge, manicured pathways and plantings, and backyard pool and deck. “They love to entertain outdoors,” says Lynn Brescia, a realtor with Coldwell Banker who markets properties in Bergen and Passaic Counties. It’s hard to imagine not wanting to luxuriate in this home’s outdoor spaces, though the interior is tempting, too. BRIDGE OF SIGHS The homeowners added tile and furniture to the covered front porch, converting the “concrete slab” into an attractive area for lingering and taking in the view. They also added pavers to the driveway. The homeowners appreciate the flat nature of the property, which prevents flooding. 32 MAY 2019 WAYNE MAGAZINE
