THE OASIS UPSTAIRS
(Top left) Ronan updated the condo’s guest bathroom with
elongated metallic hexagon tiles from Wayne Tile. Because
the master bath has a shower, she preferred a simple but
spa-like alcove tub with higher walls for the guest bath.
The wall above the towel rack sports a mounted stone
flower from Target. In the master bedroom, Ronan installed
wallpapered paneling above the bed and sconces. The
room’s electrical switches are within reach from the bed,
as they might be in a hotel. The Fairfield Chair settee at the
window is from White House Living; Ronan customized it
with a textured back and faux leather seat. Bedding is by
Horchow. (Above) Feldheim had previously converted the
second bedroom to a space that housed exercise equip-
ment. “Lori said, ‘I want to come in here and be motivated
to exercise,’” Ronan recalls. She picked the bold blue color
“for energy,” and painted the stripe across the top, match-
ing the color of the window treatment. For the inspirational
language, she ordered the specific words and typeface on
paper, and an art installer burnished and rubbed them onto
the wall. The room doubles as an office storage space,
where Ronan opened up a long closet, and matched the
dark espresso wood color on the counter and the top front
for a coordinated look. “It’s not how much square footage
you have, it’s what you do with it,” she says. ■
