WINARD HARPER

William Paterson University’s SUMMER JAZZ WORKSHOP AND CONCERT SERIES
is a week-long intensive experience in small-group jazz improvisation. The
program features classes and concerts led by jazz professionals. This year’s
workshop runs July 18-22. High school and college students (ages 14 and older)
are invited to participate in daily JAZZ CLASSES. Experience levels include
beginner improvisers to advanced experienced jazz players, and students are
required to read music, have some instrumental or vocal experience, and

The CONCERT SERIES is open to the general public. Admission is $15 per
concert for adults; $12 for WPU community and seniors; $8 for non-WPU
students; and free to WPU students.
