MYSTERY MUSICAL
A mystery wrapped in a musical, PEARLS is the original work of
Lavene Gass, who calls her action-packed and suspense-filled production
a “dramedy that will keep you on the edge of your seat.” The story
follows the lives of 10 unique individuals in a quest to discover the pearl
among them. With musical direction by Dale “Skip” Van Rensalier, this
play will be performed Saturday, May 30, at 7 p.m., at the Wayne
YMCA’s Rosen Performing Arts Center (1 Pike Drive). ■ Tickets are $30,

FAMILY JUSTICE
The Gloria Foundation of Wayne will host a
night of music, food and fun to benefit the
FAMILY JUSTICE CENTER of Morristown, a support
center for victims of domestic violence. The
event will be held Wednesday, May 20, 7-10 p.m.,
at The Waterside Restaurant (7800 B River Road,
North Bergen). Tickets are $65, which includes

BACK TO THE LAKE
Already reunited online via social media, the REMEMBERING
PACKANACK LAKE Facebook group is planning a physical reunion
beginning Friday, August 14 at 10 a.m. through Sunday, August 16 at
3 p.m. The weekend events will include a tennis tournament, golf
scramble, cook out and reunion dinner at the Packanack Lake Country
Club House (52 Lake Drive West, Wayne). The cost to attend all
events is $109, but individual event tickets are also available.
