Mall was as crowded during the holiday shopping season decades ago as it is now , but some things have changed . This photo was taken at Bamberger ’ s Department Store ; in 1986 , the store ’ s name became Macy ’ s . R . H . Macy & Co . purchased the Bamberger ’ s chain in 1929 .
