Laurelwood Arboretum is in the process of installing
a sculpture trail in its gardens, with the goal of com-
pleting the project mid-October 2020. Fifteen pieces
are being curated for placement in the arboretum;
“Broadfoot & Broadfoot, a collection of Fine Art”
will eventually sell them to the public, with a portion
of the proceeds to be donated to the non-profit
Friends of Laurelwood Arboretum. Plans are also in
the works for docent-guided tours and school-age
and adult educational programs. To cover costs of
installation and signage, a Go Fund Me page has
been set up. Seen here, sculptor James Tyler’s
Brickhead Iyemoja represents the West African pro-
tector of all women. For more information, go to

It isn’t hard to imagine where the items for sale at
design shop Accentuate with LoVe would go in your
own residence, because the shop is set in a
Pequannock home. Kitchenware is showcased in a
kitchen, the living room is dedicated to home
décor, including custom-window treatments, and
the second floor features gorgeous millwork and a
custom-coffered ceiling. High-end soaps, jewelry and
gifts are also available. On the front porch, owner
Terriann LoVerde hosts local vendors who can dis-
play their wares; she also supports groups such as
the Urban Club, who held a fashion show there and
donated proceeds to the non-profit Susan G. Komen
for the Cure. “We want to bring the community
together,” says LoVerde. • 60 Newark Pompton
