‘TIS THE SEASON OF GRATITUDE
SEIBERT FAMILY
This past Labor Day, we celebrated a special type of labor – a Labor & Delivery one! Kristen, Jon and baby Abigail are thankful
for the wonderful staff members in the Maternity Center at Chilton Medical Center who provided their family with compassionate
and personalized care during their stay. Special shout outs go out to Carol, Andria, Lisa, Sue, Sheri, Terri, Debbie, Genie and
Meg – the incredible nursing team that the new family of three would like to acknowledge for their love and support.
LEE CAHILL
With a sole focus on creating a better hospital experience for future
patients, Lee and Patricia Cahill have done just that through a promise
they made three years ago. Because of the care Patricia received from
the staff at Chilton when she was hospitalized back in 2014, the Pompton
Plains couple kept their promise with the hope that their donation would
benefit someone else. Since then, they have donated medical equipment
as well as funded an array of Chilton projects including most recently,
six rolling bedside cribs and a warmer for the Special Care Nursery in
Chilton’s Maternity Center.
“Philanthropy is about much more than writing checks. It’s about getting
involved – and staying involved – in your community, in your hospital, in
the causes that are important to you,” stated Lee. “Our relationship with
the Chilton Foundation and the Maternity Center has provided my wife
and I with a deeper understanding of the challenges faced daily by the
dedicated staff who work there and the urgent need they have for
specialized equipment.”

SUBARU
DONATION
For the second year, representatives from Wayne
Subaru, Inc. and The Leukemia & Lymphoma
Society — New Jersey Chapter visited the Cancer
Center at Chilton Medical Center recently to deliv-
er 160 blankets to be given to patients undergoing
cancer treatment. Each blanket includes a hand-
written note of encouragement from a Wayne
Subaru customer. The donation is part of Subaru’s
national Loves to Care campaign, which aims to
spread hope, love and warmth to cancer patients
through small gestures.
