THE SUMMER OF LOVE
CONCERT
DECEMBER
2
THE SUMMER OF LOVE took place 50 years
9 P.M.
ago, contributing much to the soundtrack of the
Woodstock generation. On Dec. 2, New Jersey
native Glen Burtnick, a singer-songwriter-bassist and former member
of the band Styx, brings it back for an evening of music by The Doors,
The Beatles, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix and other giants of the era.
But it’s not summertime, you say? The concert will acknowledge
the holiday season with music from A Christmas Gift for You,
Phil Spector’s iconic holiday album. Shea Center for Performing
Arts William Paterson University, 300 Pompton Road;
