Paints the Towns Pink
or the ninth year in a row, local busi-
nesses have pledged to support Chilton
Medical Center’s Paint the Towns Pink
campaign, which raises funds for The
Chilton Breast Center and the 16,000
community women it serves annually. The event
has raised more than $100,000.
In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness
Month in October, Chilton is asking the commu-
nity to support these 15 local businesses by
patronizing their establishments.
“Every year, we experience inspiring support
from businesses and other community-minded
organizations that understand the value of breast
cancer prevention and detection,” said Chief
Development Officer, Chilton Medical Center
Foundation Joan Beloff.
“These funds have enabled Chilton Medical
Center to invest in life-saving technology, includ-
ing revolutionary 3D mammography, state-of-the-
art ultrasound and advanced biopsy tools that help
our physicians detect and treat breast cancer as
early as possible,” added Beloff.
