For a quick meal at home, warm up Foodtown’s breaded eggplant and add sauce, fresh mozzarella and pasta, or heat up thick-sliced, store-baked turkey or roast beef with gravy and a fresh vegetable. The fresh quiches and pot pies heat up in minutes and go well with salads. The deli’s Jamaican beef patties are very popular. Fully cooked meatballs are available to pair with pasta and one of The Brownstone’s exclusive vodka, marinara or regular red sauces. Try a bucket of hot wings (oven-roasted, barbecued, teriyaki or spicy buffalo) tossed over garden salad with blue cheese dressing. The chef’s meatloaf makes great comfort food, and can be smothered in gravy and paired with hot vegetables and your choice of potatoes (scalloped, sweet or mashed). The sushi bar at Foodtown serves fresh vegetable and seafood choices including salmon, cucumber and spicy tuna rolls, as well as the popular California and Philadelphia rolls, and a specialty eel and avocado roll.
