Home THE STORY CONTINUES The master bedroom carries on the squares and circles and muted, vibrant tradition of the first floor. The long chest (left) on the opposite page is a custom piece of furniture finished in gray and wood tones; the fabric on the chairs is velvet, and the ottoman is covered with hair on cowhide for a sense of sophistication and fun. The bedframe is custom-tufted and lined with nail-head trim. The window treatment patterns, lamp and furniture handles are round. “It softens a space when you add circular pieces,” Pluta says. ■ WAYNE MAGAZINE BACK TO SCHOOL 2017 45
