senior forward
assistant coach at William Paterson,

the team game a lot better and
improved my communication skills
and taking it to the next level.”
Along with Byrne, who scored the
lone goal in Wayne Hills’ 1-0 win
over Pompton Lakes in the PCT
final in 2015, the Patriots have a
solid return of younger players for
the 2016 season, including sophomores- to-be Meghan O’Loughlin
and Erica Radler.
“I think the focus should be on
the simple things, practicing hard,
clearing the ball up the field,
passing it crisply and making the
necessary adjustments from covering
defensively to attacking offensively,”
says Londino.
“We feel our core is really strong
and with the young players coming
in, we are very excited to try to go
for a fourth straight county championship,” says LaGuardia. “I feel
confident that if everything breaks
right, we could have a strong
opportunity again to do very well.” ■
