The Jazz Room presents vocalist CÉCILE MCLORIN
SALVANT at William Paterson University’s Shea Center
for Performing Arts (300 Pompton Road, Wayne) on
Saturday, Nov. 12 at 8 p.m. Salvant first made a name for
herself when she won the Thelonious Monk Jazz Vocal
Competition in 2010, and has since become one of the
most popular jazz performers today. Nominated for Best
Jazz Vocal Album at the 2014 and 2016 Grammy Awards,
she is recognized for her incredible vocal range that
communicates a level of skill and talent well beyond her
years. ■ All tickets are $25. A Meet-the-Artist question and answer session will follow
this Jazz Room concert performance, free to all ticket holders.
