According to Ciesla, in pleasant weather conditions many
people go out and fly planes. Rockets and quadcopters and
control-line flying are popular, too. More of these vehicles are
electronic instead of gas-powered, which runs cleaner. And, there
are local organized groups for flying, such as the Wayne Modelers.
With the popularity of computer gaming, Ciesla fears that
young people don’t know enough about hobbies. “Children are
more into electronics. I’m a good old-fashioned brick and
mortar hobby store that offers everything from hobby kits to
all the supplies, glues, tools, hardware and advice you’ll need
to go with it. We can help with repairs, and our prices are very
competitive, even with those online,” she says. ➤

to grow the business her father once built. Her shop is stocked
with modeling supplies and miniature trains, which are fun for
all ages.
