A captivating tale of romance, rebellion and redemption, this radiant production follows the coming of age of John Newton, the son of a slave-trader, as Britain sits atop an international empire of slavery. TEA TIME The Chilton Medical Center Auxiliary is presenting a QUEEN’S TEA benefit at The High SocieTea House (20 Old Newark-Pompton Turnpike, Wayne) on Thursdays, Oct. 1 and Oct. 8. Proceeds from this event will benefit The Breast Center at Chilton Medical Center. There will be two seatings on each date: noon and 6 p.m. The menu will include a choice of tea, quiche with soup or salad, scones, lemon curd and clotted cream, assorted savories, delectable sweets and plated dessert.
