TOWN MANAGER’S MESSAGE
On February 24 th and 26 th , the Town of Waxhaw Board of Commissioners
and department heads gathered for their annual retreat to set goals for the
upcoming year. It was a productive meeting and we are looking forward to

Thank you to the staff and community for your support during the heavy rain
and flooding we experienced earlier in February. The town worked closely
together to provide the most up-to-date information for residents. Please

Construction has begun on Prescot Village, road improvements should be
completed by May 2020, weather permitting. The town is working with
developers to fill the tenant space and have an agreed upon timeline that will
be followed for the project. Read the latest updates on page 6.
Please join us in welcoming our new Finance Director, Rosemary Bernauer.
With over 15 years of accounting experience, Rosemary officially began her
role on February 17 th . Learn more about her background on page 3.
