Charter Day 2019 Breaks All-Time #JUGives Record
Hundreds of students, faculty, staff,
alumni, athletes, and prospective
students invaded Jacksonville’s
metroplex for JU's annual tradition,
Charter Day of Service, a day also
dedicated to the celebration of the
University’s 85th birthday.
Volunteers served 34 organizations
throughout Northeast Florida in a
single day. More than a thousand
JU volunteers participated,
including 15 athletic teams and
more than 100 prospective students,
equalling 3,000 hours served. As
an anchor of the historic Arlington
neighborhood, Jacksonville
University is committed to driving
positive change that ripples
throughout the entire city.
